Today's guest is Kathy Bangsund. Kathy is the co-founder and former director of The Dwelling Place, a home for young men with down syndrome in Leavenworth, Washington. Kathy talks about raising a son with special needs and the opportunity to create a welcoming space for other young men in similar situations. The Dwelling Place residents are known as The Amigos, and have been assembling jump ropes for Elite SRS for nearly a decade.
